The SubTerranean™ Series under counter water filter accesses your cold water line utilizing a piece of hardware G.E.T. supplies called a saddle valve. Please note that the saddle valve cannot be used on plastic pipe or flexible tubing. When installed, a piece of high pressure tubing runs from the saddle valve into the inlet side of your SubTerranean™. The water is filtered through the TerraFil™ CBLX carbon block cartridge and exits the system through an additional piece of high pressure tubing to the fountainhead. The fountainhead is a separate faucet which comes through your sink top to dispense TerraFlo® water.
